No. Scoop is completely free for Creators. The brand pays for the platform, and creator compensation comes from the brand based on the terms of your Deal. A creator will never be asked to enter a card or sign up for a subscription.
How it works
Brands cover the cost of Scoop as part of running their Creator program. When a brand invites you to a Deal, all the tools you need — the Creator Portal, the Deal Thread, draft uploads, publishing checks, and payment tracking — are included at no charge to you.
Your earnings come directly from the Deal you agree to with the brand. That might be a cash payment, free product (a barter Deal), a Coupon-based reward, or some combination. The details are spelled out in the Deal you accept, so you always know what you are getting before you commit.
If anyone ever asks you to pay a fee, deposit, or subscription to access Scoop or to claim a Deal, that is not how Scoop works. Reach out to support and we will look into it.
