I uploaded a Draft but the brand can't see it. What now?

Written by Abid

If your Draft is not showing up for the brand, the file most likely did not fully finish uploading. The good news is this is easy to spot and easy to fix.

Likely cause

Uploads can stall when your connection drops mid-transfer or when a video file is very large. Even if your end of the screen shows progress, the file might not have completed on Scoop's side. You can confirm this on your Deal page β€” if the Draft status still shows "uploading" or has errored out, the file did not arrive.

A few things that commonly cause this:

  • Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data during the upload

  • Going into a tunnel or somewhere with patchy reception on mobile

  • Uploading very large or high-bitrate video files

  • Closing the browser tab before the upload finished

How to fix it

  • Check the upload status on your Deal page. Anything other than complete means it did not finish.

  • Switch to a stable Wi-Fi connection and try the upload again.

  • If the file is unusually large, compress the video or export at a lower bitrate before uploading.

  • Keep the upload tab open and active until the status shows complete.

Once the status reads complete, the brand can see the Draft.

When to contact support

If the upload completes but the brand still says they cannot see the Draft, take a screenshot of the completed status on your Deal page and start a chat with Scoop support. Share the Deal name so we can check on our end.
